We offer a wide variety of activities from youth sports to dog obedience. FCPR emphasizes on connecting with the community and strengthening of family and friends through the activities we offer.

Our mission is to promote opportunities for all residents to pursue safe and enjoyable leisure activities in balance with the protection and conservation of Fluvanna's natural resources. We are committed to working cooperatively in the development of our programs and amenities to identify and meet the needs of our citizens. We invite you to become an active partner with us as we strive to improve the quality of life for all Fluvanna County residents through the pursuit of quality leisure services.


 

Easter Egg Event

The access roads to the Pole Barn and Community Garden at Pleasant Grove Park will be closed on April 19th from 6:00am-2:00pm for our annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza event.  This activity will take place from the Pleasant Grove House to the Pole Barn making this entire ara inaccessible until 2:00pm.

*Horse Trailer parking will be still available and the Western Trailhead entrance will not be open until 2:00pm. Please find additional trail access at other locations.*

Fluvanna County's 1st Ever Earth Day Celebration

Fluvanna County is excited to announce our upcoming Household Hazardous Waste and Tire Collection drop offon Saturday, April 26, 2014. Individuals are urged to drop off items between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Park, 1730 Thomas Jefferson Parkway, Palmyra, VA (Note: materials cannot be accepted before or after the stated hours). The Household Hazardous Waste event is for Fluvanna County residents only. A current driver's license or Vehicle Registration may be required to show proof of residency.
