County Administrator Says Goodbye

Palmyra - Steven M. Nichols helmed his final Board of Supervisors meeting on July 2, 2019. Following a special presentation, Mr. Nichols, briefly reflected on his time with Fluvanna County. Chair Mike Sheridan highlighted Mr. Nichols dedication and love for the County, and noted that he has always appreciated that, "(Mr. Nichols is a) leader that leads by example." 

Mr. Nichols thanked the Board of Supervisors for the opportunity to, "...serve the people that live next door to you, an amazing blessing that not many people get." Steve Nichols' official final day as County Administrator is July 5, 2019.

Eric M. Dahl, who will take over as County Administrator on July 6, 2019, and Caitlin Solis, Clerk to the Board of Supervisors, were sworn in on July 3, 2019, ahead of the holiday weekend.
