Fluvanna County Will Observe Juneteenth Holiday

Many Fluvanna County offices will close on Friday, June 19th, in recognition of Juneteenth. On June 19, 1865, Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States," and commemorates the date when word finally reached Texas. (Juneteenth.com)

County services will resume on Monday, June 22, 2020.

Important Reminders:

  • All County Offices will be open by appointment only beginning Monday, June 22, 2020.
  • The Registrar’s Office will be open Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 to assist customers with in-person absentee voting. Please call 434-589-3593 with questions or for information.
  • Tax payments may be made at the drop box, by mail, or online. Beginning Monday, the Treasurer’s Office will reopen to the public with appropriate physical distancing requirements in effect. Please call 434-591-1945 with questions and concerns.
  • The Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office will reopen to the public Monday, June 22, 2020. Please call 434-59-1940 with questions and concerns.
