POSTPONED - Community Connections Fair - March 28, 2020

Calendar Date:
Saturday, March 28, 2020 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

On the recommendation of the County administration and public health authorities, and with consideration to the health and well-being of all involved, the Community Connections Fair scheduled for March 28th, 2020 has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a future date. Updates will be posted at https://www.fluvannacounty.org/administration/page/community-connections-fair

We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to providing our community with a healthy, safe, fun-filled event soon.

Fun, food, entertainment for kids and adults, door prizes, informational workshops and dozens of booths featuring Fluvanna non-profits looking for volunteers will be among the features of the Community Connections Fair scheduled for March 28 at Fluvanna High School. The Fair is a joint project of the Fluvanna County Community Volunteer Coordinator and the Fluvanna Leadership Alumni Group.

“We want this to be a fun event for all, as well as a chance for people who are looking for ways to help to connect with organizations that are looking for help,” said Pam Dempsey, facilitator for the organizing committee. “We also hope to show off some high school programs, such as the culinary and carpentry programs, as well as musical groups and choirs.”

Organizers will soon begin asking local volunteer groups and others to apply for free booth space at the Community Connections Fair, said Carol Tracy Carr, Community Volunteer Coordinator. She said those who are interested can get more information and sign up at https://tinyurl.com/CCF2020.

The Community Connections Fair, to run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Fluvanna High School is free and open to all county residents.
