Oct 21, 2023 - Coffee and Conversation - Lake Monticello Area

The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors and the Fluvanna County Planning Commission will each hold a Special Meeting in order to attend the Coffee and Conversation with the County Town Hall Meeting for the Lake Monticello Area, Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

The meeting will be held in the Maple Room, Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire and Rescue, located at 10 Slice Rd, Palmyra, VA and will begin 10:00am.

Pursuant to Virginia Code § 2.2-3701, "Meeting" or "meetings" means the meetings including work sessions, when sitting physically, or through electronic communication means pursuant to § 2.2-3708.2 or 2.2-3708.3, as a body or entity, or as an informal assemblage of (i) as many as three members or (ii) a quorum, if less than three, of the constituent membership, wherever held, with or without minutes being taken, whether or not votes are cast, of any public body.

The purpose of the Coffee and Conversation with the County Town Hall Meeting will be to engage residents and to provide information regarding planning, infrastructure, and economic development projects in the County.
