Quad-County Business Summit

Fluvanna County, VA –  Fluvanna County Economic Development Office, in collaboration with the Fluvanna Chamber of Commerce, Central Virginia Small Business Development Center and peer organizations in Greene County, Louisa County and Orange County has just announced the inclusion of a pitch competition titled, The Quad Tank, to be held at this year’s Summit.  The Quad Tank will offer entrepreneurs from the four localities a funding opportunity to take their business ideas to the next level.

“The Quad Tank will be a tremendous addition to this year’s Summit. Fluvanna entrepreneurs will gain tremendous experience going through the planning process. All entrepreneurs will receive great benefit from the experience. Any business participating will be able to take their work for The Quad Tank to other venues to help launch their business,” said Bryan Rothamel, Fluvanna County’s Economic Development Coordinator.

Participating individuals or teams must have a business idea or an existing business located in, or be residents of, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, or Orange counties. Participants will be allotted a maximum of five (5) minutes to pitch their idea or concept and five (5) minutes for Q&A with the judges.  The winning individual or team will be awarded a cash prize to be used to implement their business plans.  A full packet of information, including the rules and regulations, can be found on the Quad County Business Summit website at here
