PHONE SCAM: BOGUS VACATION

The County has been made aware that phone scammers have been phoning Fluvanna residents with claims of a free vacation in Myrtle Beach. Caller ID shows these calls coming from a local fire department telephone number.   Please note that the Fluvanna Fire Departments are not involved in any such campaign.  If you receive one of these scam phone calls from a Fluvanna Fire Department, please hang up and disregard.
