When I filled out the Jury Questionnaire, I listed vacation and business travel dates that was already scheduled. Do I need to call to verify excusal?
Yes. You need to follow up with the Jury Coordinator at 434-591-1970 to confirm that the information has been received and provide any additional information requested.
When there is inclement weather, how will I know if the courts are open or if the courts will be opening late?
In the event of inclement weather, please listen to or view local media stations for changes to the operating hours of the Fluvanna County Circuit Court. Please note that the Fluvanna County government and the Fluvanna County Circuit Court are separate entities and may specify different operating hours. Please follow any instructions given by the media for changes to the operating hours of Fluvanna Circuit Court only. You may also attempt to call the Jury Information Line at 434-591-2007. If no information is included on this line, continue to listen and view local media stations for changes.
