#6060- Deputy Sheriff - Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office

The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff's positions. Must be willing to work in both Courts and Patrol.  An alternate shift may be required.

Full-time, DCJS-certified individuals will receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus. 

Non-certified individuals will receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency, and be 21 years of age.
• Complete a thorough background investigation.
• Successfully complete a physical and psychological examination.
• Candidates must possess a current valid operator’s license.  

Compensation: 

Salary is dependent upon experience, education, and certifications.  

$60,147 to $69,170 for LEO-certified candidates, depending upon qualifications.
