Family Services Supervisor

Fluvanna County Department of Social Services is currently recruiting for a Family Services Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and professional guidance to a team of Family Services Specialists delivering child protection and prevention programs.

This position ensures high-quality, compliant service delivery through supervision, coaching, case consultation, and performance management.

The Family Services Supervisor monitors workload, reviews case documentation, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and local policies, including safety, permanency, prevention, and family engagement standards.

Key responsibilities include coordinating program operations, supporting staff development, facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration, and making critical decisions related to case planning and risk assessment.

This position also represents the agency in court proceedings, community partnerships, and Interagency meetings, while fostering a trauma-informed, culturally responsive work environment. The Family Services Supervisor plays a vital role in strengthening families, protecting vulnerable children and adults, and ensuring the effective implementation of agency policies and service goals.

Salary range is $46,959 - $82,000.
