131. Make your own artwork at Glaze 'n' Blaze.

Let Glaze n Blaze help you create lasting ceramic pieces and memories. We have a great assortment of small items for children and parents, usable items for the kitchen and household, and holiday items.  We also do baby fingerprinting, palmprints or foot prints, or your item of choice. Pets too! Walk ins are always welcome during our open hours, or book a private party in our studio.

130. Work up a sweat at Orme Family Fitness.

Orme Family Fitness is a local gym with certified fitness trainers; have cardio and weight training equipment, and have rooms for yoga, Pilates, and others classes. Membership Fees available or pay by day.

127. Get sweet at Red Rocker Candy.

All of their candy is still made in small batches by just a few experienced candy makers, including the owner Sue Charney. Based in Troy, VA, Red Rocker Candy is off of I-64 just East of Charlottesville. Red Rocker can be purchased in stores in Fluvanna or online directly from Red Rocker.

126. Deliver a meal for Meals on Wheels.

Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver a hot nutritious meal, a warm smile, and a safety and wellness check so that senior and disabled adults may remain healthy and living in their own homes. Meals are delivered at lunchtime every Monday through Friday, and we currently have an active volunteer force of more than 200 volunteers who prepare and deliver meals to clients in need of our services in the County of Fluvanna.

125. Indulge in a slice and a knot at Villa Nova.

Since 2006, Villa Nova has been providing the people of Fluvanna with authentic hand-tossed pizzas and delicious Italian cuisine. Not in the mood for a whole pie, try their daily by the slice lunch special, a calzone, or some of their delicious fresh-baked garlic knots.

Choose from a range of staple Chinese dishes at this popular take-away restaurant, located just outside the gates of Lake Monticello. 

122. Keep ticking on at Time Marches On in Downtown Palmyra.

This shop on Main Street sells, repairs, and displays antique clocks.  Time Marches On also offers home visits and clock set ups.

121. Pet a puppy at Caring for Creatures.

Caring For Creatures is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation dedicated to caring for homeless animals and enhancing the human-animal bond by providing a safe & healthy environment in which to rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, neglected, abused or otherwise homeless dogs and cats; creating a lifetime home, if necessary, for animals who are elderly, disabled and/or have a chronic condition requiring specialized care; and promoting programs and policies that will help stem the number of animals entering care facilities through education and awareness, promotion of spaying and neutering,
