Welcome to Fluvanna County’s DATA Dashboard for citizens!  This web-based tool provides citizens with easy access to information about the County and County Government operations.  The dashboard covers topics including County demographics, County Government services, and the status of County operations in key areas and includes charts, graphs, spreadsheets, narratives, and numerous performance indicators.

Community & Economic Development

Comprised of three subcategories:

     Building Inspections  *  Economic Development  *  Planning & Zoning

Contains:  Data on residential zoning and other permits, subdivision plats, data related to building inspections, erosion and code compliance cases.

Budget & Finance

Comprised of five subcategories:

     General  *  Budget  *  Fund Balance & Debt  *  Revenues & Expenditures  *  Taxes

Contains:  Total County spending and County revenues by type, as well as the County’s fund balance and amount of debt outstanding.  The Tax information gives statistical breakdowns on property tax collection and history.

Human Services

Comprised of two subcategories:

     Health Department  *  Social Services

Contains:  Data about child, school and dental health, the number of Food and Nutrition Service clients, Medicaid clients, and Senior Nutrition program participants.

Education & Technology

Comprised of two subcategories:

     Public Schools  *  Technology

Contains:  A variety of data on the number of pupils in the County’s public school system, funding, and the percentage of local dollars appropriated to education, as well as information about the number of visitors to the County web site and its Facebook and Twitter followers.

Master Naturalist Activities

September 8, 2018

  • Meet at the Nature Room at Pleasant Grove House Summer Kitchen to visit some of the many Bluebird houses at Pleasant Grove with a Bluebird monitor.  Learn how to encourage Bluebirds on your property.

October 13, 2018

  • Meet at the Equestrian parking for a discussion and guided hike about the effect of Fall on animals and their habitats.  Go on a hike with a Master Naturalist along the Heritage and Cross Hill trails to observe how the change in seasons affect the natural environment.
