The Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia has published the following documents:

A guardian is a person appointed by the court who is responsible for the personal affairs of an incapacitated person.  A guardian is responsible for making decisions regarding the incapacitated person's support, care, health, safety, ability to dress themselves, education, therapeutic treatment, and if not in keeping with an order of commitment, the place where they live.

The Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) has announced its support for Fluvanna County’s tourism initiatives by awarding $22,000 in grant funding for 2024. This investment aims to boost local visitation and promote key attractions and events within the county.

Charlottesville, Va. — The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) will be popping up at events throughout Region 10 to engage the public about transportation safety needs. The public will have an opportunity to learn about the project and respond to a survey at various farmer’s markets and other locations.
