The meeting will begin at 6:00pm at the Fluvanna County High School, 1918 Thomas Jefferson Parkway, Palmyra, Virginia 22963. 

The Board will consider the applicant's appeal of the Planning Commission's January 13, 2026 determination of Substantial Accord prior to the Public Hearings; Public Hearings will begin no earlier than 7:00pm.

Public Hearing: ZTA 25-09 Regarding Stack Height

Public Hearing: SUP 25-04 Expedition Generation Holdings/Tenaska Power

****PLEASE NOTE*****

The Board of Supervisors has approved the following changes in advance of the meeting on March 18th: 

Anyone wishing to speak during either of the two Public Comment periods, MUST sign in prior to 6:00pm. Anyone wishing to speak during either of the two Public Hearings, MUST sign in prior to 7:15pm. Sign up sheets will be available for each of the Public Comment periods and both Public Hearings.

In addition, the amount of time for each individual speaker has been adjusted: 

  • Public Comment #1 will be limited to 90 minutes.
  • Public Hearing for ZTA 25-09 will be limited to 90 minutes
  • Public Hearing for SUP 25-04 will be limited to 90 minutes
  • Public Comment #2 will be limited to 30 minutes
  • For each Public Comment period/Public Hearing, speakers will have no more than three (3) minutes to speak. If there are more speakers than can each speak for three minutes, the time will be divided among all who have signed up to speak. For instance, if 30 people sign up for Public Comment #1 (90 min), each will have a full three minutes. If 40 people sign up, they will each have 2.25 minutes to speak. 

The Fluvanna County 2026 Bylaws and Rules of Practice and Procedure, Section XXIII Orderly Conduct, states: Speakers should strive to avoid repetitive comments. Simple statements of endorsement of previous speakers are appropriate.
