National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) is April 6 – 12, 2025

Each year, millions of Americans become victims of crime.   National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) is April 19-26, 2025.   This year’s theme of Listen. Act. Advocate. Protect Victims, Serve Communities. It is a opportunity to bring communities together and raise awareness about victims’ rights and services. This is an opportunity to honor survivors and recognize organizations that have been fighting for victims’ rights, forge new partnerships to better serve and support victims of crime and strengthen existing partnerships.

NCVRW began in 1981 to honor victims and survivors of crime, raise awareness of victims’ rights and services and recognize the dedication of those who work with crime victims.  Please enjoy the pinwheel display on the courthouse lawn during the month of April in observance of Crime Victims’ Rights Week and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
