Fluvanna County, Virginia, is seeking a part-time Project Manager to oversee the County’s public utilities installation project at Zion Crossroads.  Under the general supervision of the Director of Public Works, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, project management, contract administration, and inspection of public utility projects. A strong background in waterworks/sewer design, construction, and project management experience is preferred. 

To succeed in this role, the candidate will be a graduate of an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering, project management, or related field required. Graduate study in the areas of water resources, hydraulics, sanitary engineering, or other related field preferred. Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional civil engineering work, or public waterworks project management. Any equivalent combination of experience and education that will allow the applicant to satisfactorily perform the duties of the job may be considered when filling the position.

This is a part-time position, up to 24 hours per week. The County may consider a flexible schedule depending upon availability needs.

Pay is negotiable depending upon education, licensure, certifications, and experience. Position open until filled.  See full job description attached.
