Registrar Clerk (Temporary/Part-time)

Fluvanna County, VA Registrar’s Office is seeking temporary, part-time Clerks to assist with early precinct voting.

Duties include, but are not limited to, clerical and administrative responsibilities assisting the Registrar; data entry; handling of confidential information; correctly registering voters and ensuring that all records and statistics are accurately maintained. Also, assists in the election process under applicable laws and mandated policies and established procedures. Performs work under the regular supervision of the Registrar or her designee.

  • Mathematical abilities and skills
  • Attention to detail and
  • Effective customer service.

High School diploma or equivalent required, with related experience, preferred.

This position is not eligible for Fluvanna County benefits.

Successful candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and will be available to work a flexible schedule, on an as-needed basis. Hours of work per week may vary from 20-40 during election season (early September through early November, 2025).

Hourly rate: $14.33
