On June 22, 2020 the Commissioner of the Revenue's and the Treasurer's Offices will reopen the public.

Offices located in the County Administration Building are available by appointment only. 

Even though County Offices are reopening to the public, please consider conducting your business remotely.

Fluvanna County Will Observe Juneteenth Holiday

Many Fluvanna County offices will close on Friday, June 19th, in recognition of Juneteenth. On June 19, 1865, Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States," and commemorates the date when word finally reached Texas. (Juneteenth.com)

County services will resume on Monday, June 22, 2020.

Fluvanna Dedicates $350,000 to Small Business Grants

PALMYRA, VA – At the June 17 meeting, the Fluvanna Board of Supervisors approved creating a $350,000 small business grant program.

The Funds for Recovery and Operations Management (FROM): Fluvanna Small Business Grants will help businesses from Fluvanna recover from the effects of the ongoing health crisis. FROM: Fluvanna grants will allow businesses to recoup increased cost of operation, lost revenue, and other unbudgeted expenses caused by the COVID-19 health crisis.

IFB 2020-01 BURN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

By this Invitation for Bids, the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors to establish a firm fixed price contract with Contractor to furnish, deliver, supply and install all necessary labor, and materials associated with the construction of a burn building/ fire training building and complete any and all necessary or appropriate associated work at the site or other work in accordance with the specifications, Plans, terms and conditions stated herein.

Fluvanna County Phased Reopening to the Public

As Governor Northam has begun the process to put the “Forward Virginia” Plan in motion, Fluvanna County begins the process with a phased reopening, Monday, June 15, 2020.
 
While reopening plans have been developed to take into account the safety of staff and the public, residents and others who have business with the County are encouraged to conduct their business online and by telephone where able. Department and office operations will vary, but standard general protocols and guidelines will be applied to all County departments, offices, and facilities.
