IFB 2024-12 FLUVANNA COUNTY – FENCING FOR BALL PARKS

By this Invitation for Bids (“IFB”), the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors (hereinafter the “County”) is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors (herein referred to interchangeably as “Contractor” or “Bidder”)  to  establish a firm fixed price contract with Contractor to furnish, deliver, supply and install all necessary labor and materials associated with the installation of chain link fencing and gates at four Fluvanna County athletic fields (collectively the “Fence Installations”) and complete any and all necessary or appropriate associate

Thomas Jefferson Area Community Criminal Justice Board (CCJB)

The CCJB’s mission is to enable participating localities to work together to develop community-based pretrial court services and post-conviction alternatives to incarceration for misdemeanants and certain nonviolent felons.

The participating localities include Albemarle, Charlottesville, Fluvanna, Goochland, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, and Orange County. The Board meetings happen quarterly to discuss trends in crime and incarceration, and to consider proven alternatives to incarceration that enhance long-term public safety goals.

James River Alcohol Safety Action Plan (ASAP) Policy Board

The James River ASAP Policy Board provides oversight for the local ASAP, which works to improve highway safety by decreasing DUI and drug-related incidents through education, treatment, and intervention services.

RFP 2024-11 Architecture/Engineering Services for New Administration & Social Services Building and Renovation of Existing Administration and Social Services Buildings

The County desires to engage the services of a qualified Professional Architectural/Engineering Firm for four separate projects relating to the design and construction of a new County Administration Building, a new Department of Social Services Building, the renovation of the current Administration Building and the renovation of the current Department of Social Services Building in Fluvanna County, Virginia.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to remembering victims whose lives ended too soon as the result of domestic violence, offering safety and support for those currently in abusive relationships and celebrating survivors who are now free from their abusers.
