Grand Jury

A regular Grand Jury is composed of 5 to 7 citizens of Fluvanna County, summoned by the Circuit Court, to consider bills of indictment and to hear witnesses and determine whether there is probable cause to believe that a person accused of having committed a serious crime did commit the crime and should stand trial at a later date.

Bremo Power Station Demolition

Dominion Energy will complete controlled demolition of Bremo Power Station, located in Bremo Bluff, Fluvanna County on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Approximately 10:00AM
Weather delay date is Saturday, September 24, 2022

Closures of the following public areas will take place starting at 9:15AM:

Bremo Road between the Bremo Post Office and 1268 Bremo Road
James River from the Bremo Bluff Boat Launch and ½ mile downstream

Reopening of these areas anticipated by 11:00AM.
