Absentee & Early No Excuse Voting

We will be voting for U.S. President, U.S. Vice President, ​U.S. Senate & U.S. House of Representatives 5th Congressional District

As of July 1, 2020, All Virginia registered voters may now vote early before Election Day without providing an excuse.

If you would like a ballot mailed to you, you must complete an application. If you want to request that a ballot be sent to you automatically for all elections in the calendar year, make sure to fill in section 3 of the new form. Persons with a valid Virginia DMV issued ID can apply online and paperlessly, at www.elections.virginia.gov. NEW! The deadline to apply for a “Vote by Mail” ballot is now 11 days before the election which is Friday October 22nd.

We will mail all ballots for which we presently have a “Vote by-Mail” application on file by the end of September 2020.  If you have not received your ballot by October and believe you have applied please contact the office at 434-589-3593.

Your voted ballot must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3 or returned in-person to the registrar’s office no later than 7:00 p.m. in order to be counted.

In-Person & Curbside Early Voting will be held at the Registrar’s Office new location: 265 Turkeysag Trl, Suite 115, Palmyra, VA 22963
