Costs of the Project

The Zion Crossroads Water and Sewer System will help spur economic development in the Zion Crossroads area. The system will bring treated water to nearly 4 miles of the Route 250 / Route 15 area. The County is paying for the system through a combination of county savings and debt financing.

2019 Quad-County Business Summit will include the 'Quad Tank'

Fluvanna County, VA –  Fluvanna County Economic Development Office, in collaboration with the Fluvanna Chamber of Commerce, Central Virginia Small Business Development Center and peer organizations in Greene County, Louisa County and Orange County has just announced the inclusion of a pitch competition titled, The Quad Tank, to be held at this year’s Summit.  The Quad Tank will offer entrepreneurs from the four localities a funding opportunity to take their business ideas to the next level.

Here is a map of the The Zion Crossroads Water and Sewer system.

ZXRWSS will serve nearly four miles of Routes 250 and 15. The system includes a water line from Route 698, Memory Lane, east on Route 250 to Zion Crossroads, and south on Route 15 for a half mile. The system will have a water line, forced sewer line, water booster pump station, wastewater pump station and a water tower. The line will help promote economic development in the Zion Crossroads area.
