Updated Railroad Crossing Construction

Southern Commercial Development, LLC. working with CSX Transportation to provide traffic control and detour signage for railroad crossing closures which require routine maintenance, shares the following railroad detour information: 

CSX Railroad has scheduled the below list of crossings to be closed for repair.  This will necessitate rerouting traffic.  Signage will be in place marking detour routes. Please note the expected close dates. Each crossing will be closed for 2 to 5 days.

• SR690/Columbia Rd- near St James St- scheduled to close on/around March 2, 2020 and closed for 3 full days.
   
• DATE CHANGE: SR 602/Howardsville Turnpike- off of SR626/James River Rd- Previously scheduled for March 10, 2020. Closing will now take place on/around March 18, 2020 and will be closed for 4 full days
