Emergency Medical Services Supervisor

The County of Fluvanna, VA has an opening for a full-time Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Supervisor.  In collaboration with long-established county volunteer fire and rescue agencies, local law enforcement, and the Emergency Management Coordinator, the EMS Supervisor will work to ensure the health and safety of Fluvanna County residents by helping to establish and lead the EMS Department. 

The EMS Supervisor will perform complex administrative, professional, and operational work coordinating day-to-day activities of the department, including the recruitment and training of the personnel in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

To succeed in this role the ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience as an EMS lead or EMS shift Supervisor, with a preferred five years of experience as an EMS lead or shift supervisor. Will consider other experiences on a case-by-case basis, considering education and experience. Must maintain all required certifications and licenses as noted in the position description. 

This is an FLSA-exempt position and the expected hiring range is  $59,685-$68,637,  depending on qualifications,  plus excellent benefits (paid health, dental, and vision, flex spending, life, disability, and VRS retirement).
