Parks & Recreation Master Plan Community Input Meeting

Fluvanna County Parks and Recreation invites community members to attend an open-house format public meeting for the Pleasant Grove Park Master Plan. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents, park users, and interested stakeholders to review the park’s current offerings and share input on potential additional amenities being considered as part of the 2026 master planning process.

When: July 23, 2026, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Where: Fluvanna County Library, 214 Commons Blvd., Palmyra, VA 22963

Meeting Format: Open house; attendees may arrive at any time during the meeting window.

Who Should Attend: Residents, park users, community organizations, athletic groups, trail users, equestrian users, families, and anyone interested in the future of Pleasant Grove Park.

  • During the open house, attendees will be able to view information about existing park facilities, trails, gardens, athletic fields, event spaces, and other amenities. Community members are encouraged to stop by at their convenience, ask questions, provide comments, and help identify priorities for future improvements at Pleasant Grove Park.
  • Feedback received at the meeting will help inform the next phase of the Pleasant Grove Park Master Plan, including evaluation of proposed recreational, accessibility, gathering, parking, restroom, and community-use improvements.
