The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office recently re-instituted its TRIAD initiative, and will formally announce the first meeting date of the newly formed Fluvanna TRIAD during the cooperative agreement signing.

DETAILS:
The term TRIAD references the three founding organizations that established the program in 1988: The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), the International Association of Chiefs (IACP), and the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA). The relationship was solidified when the three organizations signed a cooperative agreement. It is an alliance between senior citizens and law enforcement, and the goal is to share information about how seniors can avoid becoming victims of crime and enhance the safety and quality of their lives.
