Essential Functions

Family Services Specialist III:  Fluvanna County Department of Social Services is seeking a dedicated Family Services Specialist III for its Child Protection and Prevention team, who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.  The Family Services Specialist III serves as a lead worker on the team, providing guidance and support to other staff.

BENEFIT PROGRAMS SPECIALIST III.  The Benefit Programs Specialist III is responsible for interviewing applicants and determining eligibility for programs such as SNAP, Medicaid and other public assistance benefits.

Position Summary:
The Fluvanna County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office is seeking a full-time Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney to perform advanced professional legal work as a prosecutor for the County and the Commonwealth of Virginia. This position is responsible for preparing and prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, reviewing investigations, managing discovery and digital evidence, conducting legal research and writing, and working closely with law enforcement, victims, witnesses, court officials, and community partners.

Hourly Rate: $14.64 per hour
Status: Temporary Part-Time; not benefits eligible
