FLUVANNA COUNTY CONTINUES TO MONITOR, PREPARE, AND ENCOURAGE CITIZEN AWARENESS REGARDING COVID-19

Fluvanna County Government, the Fluvanna Sheriff’s Office, and the Fluvanna County Public Schools, continue to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. Though there are no known cases in the County, Fluvanna continues to monitor and prepare. Residents are encouraged to consult available, credible resources to maintain awareness, and to observe healthy practices.

Drivers should plan extra travel time, expect flagging operations during construction

CULPEPER — Motorists should plan extra travel time as construction of a roundabout begins next week at the intersection of Route 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway) and Route 618 (Lake Monticello Road) in Fluvanna County. 

Under a $2.2 million construction contract, Chemung Contracting Corp. will convert the existing “T” intersection to a single-lane roundabout.

Free Fair = Fun, Food, Workshops, Entertainment & New Community Connections

Organizers of the Community Connections Fair expect hundreds of Fluvanna residents to flock to Fluvanna County High School Saturday, MARCH 28 to enjoy food, entertainment, door prizes, informational workshops, activities for kids and adults, and exhibits by more than 50 Fluvanna nonprofits seeking volunteers.  Admission and all activities are free at the fair from 10 AM-3 PM. continuing reading
